(which we collectively refer to when we use the terms "we", "us" or "our") treat Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") that we collect and receive, including information related to your past use of our products and services. Adherence to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Program

Digital Mountain, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss - U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, respectively. Digital Mountain, Inc. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. Digital Mountain, Inc. has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss – U.S. Privacy Shield Principles BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Types of PII that Digital Mountain, Inc. collects under Privacy Shield include name, home or work address, email address, personal ID numbers, company and work position. This information is only shared with third party business partners for use in service-related customer matters. In the context of an onward transfer, the Company has responsibility for the processing of personal information it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. The Company shall remain liable under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

We also may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

How to Correct or Review Your Personal Information

Upon request, we will provide an individual with access to their PII provided that they have given proof of identity. If any inaccuracies need to be corrected, please send us the corrections in an e-mail or by writing to us.

How We May Update our Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may use PII for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our Privacy Policy. If our information practices change we will immediately post any adjustments to our policy on this website. We will change the revision date at the bottom of the policy when modifications occur.
