Digital Mountain, an entrepreneurial company in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a bright and talented Software Engineer to join our team. We are an emerging leader in the field of electronic document discovery, providing software and services used in areas such as litigation and risk management. The company is privately held and has customers among the top law firms in the U.S. as well as Fortune 1000 corporations.

In this position, you will be an important member of the team furthering the development of our product FileQuest., a software-as-a-service (SaaS) universal discovery management tool. Uniquely, FileQuest allows clients to manage and perform the entire electronic discovery process from initial data loading to filtering/processing to review to production/export, all online and under client control with a powerful yet intuitive user interface. The fact that the entire process is under client control provides unique advantages in speed, flexibility, cost and accuracy.

Required Background

• 2-5 years of experience in Java, database and web development in a windows/Linux environment.
• Experience with distributed applications, scalability and performance optimization.
• Experience with developing web applications within a release cycle.
• Experience providing technical/architectural leadership.
• BS/MS degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
